She always wears a pink and white outfit that matches her hair and is adorned with armor pieces. Her armor consists of a dress that covers her thighs, a breastplate that covers her stomach, and gauntlets that protect her hands. She also carries a pink shield on her back, which is her signature weapon.

Mapl is the main character in the anime BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense. She is a shy and timid girl who just started playing an online game with her best friend Sally. Unfamiliar with the game's mechanics, Mapl accidentally puts all her points into defense, making her an unstoppable tank with no attack power. She also joins a guild with Sally and other players, where they enter tournaments and fight against other guilds to become the best in the game.
