Her hair is styled in two bunches at the top of her head, held together with pink and white ribbons. Rena has a small face with a pointed chin, and she is often seen wearing a yellow hairpin on the right side of her head. She has a slim, petite build, and her cute outfits often comprise of frilly dresses with white collars and aprons.

Rena Ryugu is a student at Hinamizawa school, and she is a key character in the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni universe.
