Description

Doraemon is a fictional anime character and the titular character of the anime and manga series of the same name. Doraemon is a blue robotic cat that hails from the 22nd century. He is regarded as one of the most iconic characters in the history of anime and manga. Doraemon's physical appearance is one of the most striking elements of his character. He is a small robotic cat with a round head, large shiny eyes, and long, droopy ears on his head. He also has a small red bell attached to his collar that serves as a means of communication, signalling and teleportation.

Doraemon's story begins in the 22nd century, where he was built by a brilliant inventor named Sewashi to help his great-grandfather, Nobita Nobi. Doraemon was sent back in time to the 20th century with a mission to help Nobita overcome his daily problems and become a better person. Doraemon uses his 4-dimensional pocket to pull out various gadgets which he uses to help Nobita overcome his problems, sometimes to humorous effect. However, in the anime movie "Doraemon: Nobita to Tetsujinheidan -Winged Angels-", Doraemon collaborates with Nobita and his friends to rescue humanoid robots called Winged Angels from the evil grasp of power-hungry General Gilmore, who seeks to use them as weapons in his bid for world domination. Along the way, Doraemon showcases his incredible gadget collection and uses them to aid in the rescue mission.
