Kento Nanami is a fictional character from the anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. He is an experienced jujutsu sorcerer who is often seen wearing a black suit with a white tie. Kento has short black hair with a messy fringe that partially covers his forehead. He has sharp and piercing brown eyes that add to his serious demeanor. In battles, Kento exhibits a stoic expression, rarely deviating from his calm and collected state.

The story of Kento Nanami begins when he joins the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College. As a student, he was exceptional in his studies, displaying great aptitude in jujutsu techniques. However, he was forced to drop out due to lack of funds to pay for his tuition. He then went on to become a salaryman but ultimately joined the jujutsu sorcerer community. Despite his high rank, Kento harbors feelings of disillusionment towards his job and life. These perspectives led him to become cynical and uninterested in most things. Throughout the anime, Kento demonstrates his specialized technique, which allows him to manipulate time. The technique, known as Ratio Technique: Collapse, compresses the time of a particular event in the past or future, causing it to collapse and erasing it from existence. Kento's ability is so advanced that he can use it to rewind the sense of pain and damage in his body. While a powerful technique, it comes with a severe price, as it ages his body each time it is used. Kento's character arc explores his inner struggles with the morality of his actions and his troubling past.
