Katsuki Bakugo is a fictional anime character and one of the main protagonists in the My Hero Academia franchise. He has a slim but muscular physique with spiky blonde hair and red explosive sweat glands located in his palms that he can use to create powerful explosions. He is often seen wearing his signature hero costume, which is mostly black with an orange and cream chest plate, and red gauntlets and boots.

Katsuki's story begins with him being a childhood friend of the show's protagonist, Izuku Midoriya, and having a rivalry with him since childhood. Katsuki had always possessed a strong Quirk (superhuman ability) that allowed him to create explosions from his palms, but he often belittled and bullied Izuku for not having a Quirk. However, after Izuku gains a powerful Quirk from his mentor and becomes a strong hero-in-training, Katsuki realizes his own weaknesses and begins to channel his anger and aggression into improving his abilities as well. Throughout the series, Katsuki faces various struggles and obstacles, including being captured by villains and confronting his own arrogance and impatience. He ultimately learns to rely on his friends and becomes a stronger hero.
