Kaito is a tall and lean young man with a pale complexion, wild blue hair, and piercing blue eyes that sparkle in the light. He is often seen wearing a black and white suit with a top hat and a monocle, giving him a sophisticated yet mysterious look. Kaito's most distinguishing feature is his white dove-shaped mask, which he uses to conceal his identity as the infamous Phantom Thief Kid.

Kaito Kuroba's story begins when his father, Toichi Kuroba, was killed during a magic show. Toichi was a renowned magician who was also the original Phantom Thief Kid. After his father's death, Kaito discovers a hidden room in his father's house and learns that he was the Phantom Thief Kid all along. Determined to uncover the truth behind his father's death, Kaito takes on the mantle of the Phantom Thief Kid and uses his magical abilities to solve various heists and crimes. As the Phantom Thief Kid, Kaito is a master of disguise and is able to pull off elaborate heists with ease. However, his ultimate goal is to uncover the truth behind his father's death and bring those responsible to justice.
