Kyo Soma is a fictional anime character and one of the main protagonists in the series "Fruits Basket". He is depicted as a teenage boy with vibrant orange hair and piercing green eyes. He wears a black and white outfit with a red bracelet on his wrist. His most distinctive feature is his cursed form, which transforms him into a large orange cat with fiery eyes.

Kyo's story is centered around his curse as one of the Zodiac animals in the Soma family. He is cursed to turn into a cat when hugged by a member of the opposite sex or when under stress. Because of this, he feels like an outcast and is often ostracized by his family and peers. Kyo is initially depicted as a hot-headed and aggressive character, but his personality softens as he develops friendships with the other characters. He becomes particularly close with Tohru Honda, the story's protagonist, who helps to bring out his softer side and encourages him to accept himself.
