Nyanko Sensei is a fictional anime character from the series Nendoroid Natsume Yuujinchou. He is a shape-shifting creature who usually takes the form of a chubby, gray and white cat. He has big, round eyes with black pupils, and thick white whiskers that stick out from his chubby face. He has a small nose and wide mouth which often stretches into a toothy grin. Nyanko Sensei's fur is soft and fluffy, and he has a short, fluffy tail that he often wraps around himself. He wears a small bell on a red collar around his neck, which jingles when he moves.

Nyanko Sensei has a rich and fascinating story that has endeared him to many anime lovers. He is a powerful and ancient yokai, who has lived for centuries in the forests of Japan. He was once a great and feared yokai, known as Madara, who terrorized humans and yokai alike. However, one day he was defeated by a human exorcist named Reiko, who bound him to a small statue. In the present day, Nyanko Sensei is discovered by a young orphan boy named Takashi Natsume. Nyanko Sensei convinces Natsume to release him from the statue, and in exchange, he becomes Natsume's loyal companion and protector. Over time, Nyanko Sensei comes to care for Natsume deeply, and even though he is a yokai, he is fiercely protective of his young friend.
