Shalltear Bloodfallen is a fictional anime character from the Overlord series. She is known for her striking beauty and charismatic presence. Shalltear's story begins when she was originally a human, but she was turned into a vampire by the Supreme Being, Peroroncino. Peroroncino created her as a guardian for the virtual world of YGGDRASIL, where Shalltear used to reign as one of the guardians of the Great Tomb of Nazarick until it turned into the New World. When the New World becomes reality, Shalltear remained in the Great Tomb of Nazarick with her fellow guardians to serve their leader, Ainz Ooal Gown. As a high-ranking noble in the vampire society, Shalltear holds the title of the True Ancestor, making her one of the most powerful beings in the New World. Despite her strengths, Shalltear is not entirely free from her past humanity. In fact, she's prone to making emotional decisions, which lead to her eventual betrayal of her friends and allegiances.
