White Blood Cell is a fictional anime character from the Cells at Work! franchise, specifically the Nendoroid version of Neutrophil. White Blood Cell is a humanoid cell with a muscular build and short blond hair styled in a messy bob. He often bears an intense, determined expression on his face. His outfit consists of a white, long-sleeved shirt with a red cross on the chest, black pants, and black knee-high boots with red lining. He carries a sickle-shaped weapon called a "cytokine sword" which he uses to fight off invading pathogens.

White Blood Cell's story is centered around his role as a protector of the body from foreign invaders. At the start of the series, he is a newly formed neutrophil who is naïve to the ways of the world. However, he is quickly thrown into the fray as he comes across a group of Pneumococcus bacteria that threaten to infect the body. Through trial and error, White Blood Cell learns to work with his fellow cells to take down pathogens through various means, such as phagocytosis and the formation of a blood clot. As the series progresses, White Blood Cell becomes more experienced and battle-hardened, taking on even more dangerous threats to the body.
