She has big, bright blue eyes that sparkle with a mischievous glint, giving away her playful nature. Sakura Miko is often seen wearing an ornate light blue and white shrine maiden outfit with a golden flower pattern, a small golden bell on her obi, and white tabi socks that reach up to her knees. Her outfit comes with several detailed accessories, such as a golden hair ornament and a hand-held bell that she rings to signal the start of her streams.

Sakura Miko's story is that she is a mischievous and playful shrine maiden who likes to bring excitement and fun to every occasion. She was scouted by Hololive Production after they discovered her natural talent for singing and dancing during one of her temple festivals. She is a friendly and cheerful character who loves to play pranks on people and make them laugh. She is also known for her famous catchphrase, "Hakase to Issho!" which means "Together with Professor!" in Japanese. The professor being referred to is her imaginary scientist friend who she often speaks to during her streams.
