Toshiro Hitsugaya is a fictional character from the anime series "BLEACH". He is a young captain of the 10th Division in the Gotei 13, a group of elite warriors who protect the human world from evil spirits. Toshiro is known for his short stature and is often mistaken for a child. He has spiky white hair and piercing turquoise eyes that stand out in contrast to his pale skin. He often wears a traditional black shinigami robe with a white undercoat, and he carries his Zanpakuto, Hyorinmaru, on his side.

Toshiro's story begins as a young boy living in the Rukongai, a slum-like district in the Soul Society. One day, he witnessed the murder of his grandmother at the hands of a group of bandits.
